Plain-language summary: You do not need an account to read Bible with Original Names. Your bookmarks, highlights, notes, reading position, settings, and recent searches are stored locally on your device or browser. We do not sell personal information. The app may transmit limited device, installation, attribution, usage, and diagnostic information to service providers that help us distribute, measure, secure, and improve the app. We do not intentionally send your private note text, raw search queries, or highlighted Scripture text for advertising or analytics.
1. Scope and developer
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to Bible with Original Names, including the Android / Google Play app and the iPhone / iOS app, together with the Bible reader experience contained in those applications.
The developer and publisher is The Way Partners LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“The Way Partners,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
The current app does not require users to create an account, provide a username, or sign in to read Scripture.
2. Privacy summary
- No account is required. The current app does not require a user profile, username, or sign-in.
- Your reading library is primarily local. Bookmarks, highlights, notes, reader settings, reading position, and recent searches are stored on your device or browser unless you intentionally export or share something.
- We do not sell personal information.
- The app does not contain third-party display advertising.
- Install and campaign measurement may occur. The Android app may use a device advertising identifier and install-referrer information to measure which promotion led to an installation. On iPhone, tracking that requires Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission is subject to your iOS permission choice.
- Optional product analytics and diagnostics may be used. Where enabled, limited usage, crash, and performance information helps us understand reliability and improve the reader.
3. Information stored locally on your device
The reader may store the following information locally so the app works as expected:
- current book, chapter, route, and reading position;
- font size, line spacing, font, theme, name-display preference, and other reader settings;
- recent searches;
- bookmarks, highlights, note titles, and note bodies;
- content-update preferences and information about the Bible release in use; and
- a random reader/share-source code used for passage links and, where analytics are enabled, pseudonymous measurement.
The current app does not intentionally transmit the contents of your personal notes, note titles, highlighted Scripture text, raw search queries, or imported/exported library files to analytics or attribution services.
If you use Export my library or Import library, files are handled at your direction for backup and restore. If you use the system share sheet or copy a passage link, the information you choose to share is handled by your device and the receiving service according to your action.
4. Information the app may collect or transmit
Depending on your platform, privacy settings, consent choices, app version, and network availability, the app may transmit the following categories of information:

The app does not intentionally request or collect precise GPS location, contacts, microphone recordings, camera content, health information, payment-card information, or your private reading notes for advertising or analytics.
6. Your privacy choices
You can use the core Bible reader without creating an account.
Where the app offers an Analytics & diagnostics setting, you can use that control to enable or disable the optional product analytics and diagnostics governed by that setting.
On iPhone/iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency settings control tracking that requires ATT permission. You can review or change that permission in your iPhone privacy settings.
On Android, you can use Android privacy settings to manage or delete the device advertising identifier where your Android version provides that control.
You can manage local reading data inside the app. Uninstalling the app or clearing its app data removes local reader data from that installation, subject to normal device or operating-system backups outside our control.

7. Future optional account, username, or update features
We do not currently require a username or account. If a future version introduces an optional account, username, profile, contact form, or update-signup feature, we may collect information such as a name, username, or email address only when you choose to provide it.
Such information would be used for the feature you requested, direct support or outreach connected to your request, account administration if applicable, and updates or communications you choose to receive. We would update this Privacy Policy and any required in-app disclosure before materially expanding collection or use.
8. Retention and deletion
Local reader data remains on your device or browser until you delete it, clear app/browser storage, or uninstall the app, subject to backups controlled by your device or platform.
Support and contact correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain appropriate business records, meet legal obligations, prevent abuse, and protect our rights.
Attribution, analytics, diagnostic, and technical data is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for campaign measurement, product analysis, security, reliability, and troubleshooting, subject to the retention controls and legal obligations of the service providers that process it for us.
Withdrawing a permission or disabling a setting stops future collection governed by that control but does not automatically erase information already processed. You may contact us to request deletion where the information can reasonably be identified and deletion is legally available or required.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. Internet communications to our public website and service endpoints use encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections where supported. No internet transmission, mobile device, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Children
Bible with Original Names is a general-audience Bible-reading app and is not directed specifically to children under 13. The current app does not require accounts or user profiles. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us that should be deleted, contact hello@twpventures.com.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, our data practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy at this public URL and update the date shown above. If a future change materially expands collection or use of personal or sensitive information, we will provide any additional notice or consent required by law or platform policy.
